What do you do for a living?

Hopefully minus the crazy creepy stalker portion :p

Great movie, btw.

Cyber Security Architect, been in the business for over 20 years. I love solving new problems, no shortage of that in the tubes these days. Fun times.

Funny how working on the powerwall give one some immediate satisfaction, unlike security where you should derive satisfaction out of nothing happening.

Love the forum, and you guys are great at sharing ideas. I will continue to share as I make progress!!!

My title is "Lean Manufacturing Coordinator"
But really, my job is finding ways to make things Better/Faster/Cheaper.
I'm also a go-to when ever anything starts acting up.

My job is kind of ironic in that we produce a lot of products for the petroleum industry (pumps, meters, etc) But I'm all about Alt-Energy and I drive an electric car. Most of my co-workers don't know what to think of me.

Until about a year ago, I used to jump out of helicopters and kill people, for America! ( you have to say this with a Clint Eastwood like tone). Injuries "sent me to the house" as they say in the military. Now I'm a student and do a lot tinkering.Build powerwalls, repair inverters, and other gadgets. Before all that I was beach bum, surfer, and ocean rescue lifeguard in FL.

Let me see...

6 years on Submarines as a Fire Control Technician in the US Navy(FT2/SS).
6 years in the US Army as a Field ArtilleryRadar Section Chief (SSG).
3 years as a Senior Field Engineer at Raytheon.
Currently a Senior Field Technician for Lockheed Martin.

I'm good at figuring how to make things go boom... even if there not suppose to...

Don't use the .50 cal on people, aim for their vest... if they die you were aiming for their equipment...

for the past 9 years ive been a master diagnostic technician for Toyota motors usa, my wife and surrounding ppl just know me as the guy that fixes anything, computers, electronics, phones, fabrication, engineering, you name it.... and thanks to my wife, we also own a livestock farm we tend to after and before work.

Another IT person here.
no longer code though. I own a web hosting / web development studio specializing in application development (web, IOS, Android) and interactive installations.

- account manager

Now I just write proposals all day, or so it seems.

Yet another IT guy. I don't specialize in anything specific. My primary income is repairing computers in the 'local computer store'. A bit over qualified for the job, but I can't stand the city.

I have a small web development business, debugging and securing websites. After hours and on weekends.
