Hello, I found this information -> https://voltaplex.com/sanyo-f-18650-battery-ur18650f.
This is very confusing regarding the capacity of this particular Sanyo cell

PS: The guys from Voltaplex are selling this type of Sanyo cell as brand new so I think that the true parameters for this cell is what they are providing. I believe that what is written on a laptop battery in terms of capacity is not always true and that info cannot be taken as a true starting point to find out which is the capacity per cell used in that particular laptop battery at least for the ones that are using Sanyo cells.

The spec they put on the website does not even match the specs in the PDF documents on that page. I trust the PDFs (direct from Sanyo) which state 2500mAH as listed here also.

like several others i found red transcalent wrap with a green ring with embossed UR18650F M27C.

So to get the date correct in my case it will be:
1. The first letter = year. K =2006, L = 2007, M = 2008, N = 2009, O = 2010, P = 2011, Q = 2012, and so on.
2. The latter 3 numbers+letter = week.
2008 week 27, Wednesday July the first...old man...
Is it possible that they change rings around a year or so?
Or like what the Wolfman stated:
Or maybe because Panasonic got involved. Who knows.
