I am in the path, but after a lot of land, so no worries.
Just put the system back on the grid to get the battery fully charged (and upped the limit before by-pass). Won't really be any sun tomorrow, but will stay on grid until if/when power drops.
Best of luck to any folks around Cedar Key, stay safe.

DUCK...good luck my man. keep us posted please.

Hope everything's going good for ya Dickie. The storm has shifted more northward putting you in the worst area of the storm (red circle) . For those who don't know, the forward-right quadrant is the worst path to be in.
I live NE of where Dickie is towards the center of the state, so I'm also in the target zone of the quadrant. I've already shut down my servers to help extend my UPS if we do loose power.
According to Weather.com forecast, the storm will making some terrible attacks on the Cedar Key area around 12am. It's going to be a rough night for those on the West Coast/Panhandle area.
For me, it'll be closer to 230-300am. It's 830pm now and we just had that 1st band pass by and had lots of lightning and rain, power flickered a few times. The UPS actually triggered once due to 'distorted power'.

That must be scary guys :censored: I suppose these are the cases in which surge protectors are ever so important. In my city, in the south of Italy, we have strong wind a few times during the year (it always comes from south) and typhoons once every 4-5 years which do rips roofs off.

Stay safe Korishan.
Pressure down to 940 mB, that is a strong storm.
Took a direct North jog, so it will pass quite a bit North of me, doesn't look like I will get much wind or even rain. Hopefully that jog will help you as well.

Yeah, it definitely became a lot calmer for my area over the night. I didn't get woke up from a bunch of boom-boom flashes.
We still have that last band to pass by us. Right now lots of wind, but not high winds, and light to moderate rain. Still waiting for the red blob pass overhead, but shouldn't be too bad

so we get all the way thru the storm, the sky is starting to clear up a little. Then something happens and we loose power for 4 hours!!

At least they got it back on and things are good again, for now.

How are you doing? according to our news it is over?
Your houses are stil good...roofs are still good, trees?

A worried Igor...

Just like the 27mc period...Com in please:cool:, o i miss those times...

My place is pretty a-ok. Crazy part is we are having more rain now that the hurricane has passed than when it was passing overhead 🤔

But in the city where I work and the surrounding areas, is north from me by about 60-100miles, they got hit pretty hard, and several parts of their grids were offline.
However, with all the damage I've seen in my large territory, I haven't seen any homes smashed by a fallen tree. There was a close call where it did brush against it, probably needing some siding replaced, but the homes were pretty fine.
