If you have any diagrams or pictures that would be greatI've just my personal measurements and drawings, but I can send it to you.
BrillantI've 4 modules.
At the beginning 2 were quite empty, but BMS has managed it.
Thank you very much. Time to order a 10P crimperYes, I´ve made up both cables.
The type designation depends on the seller. Sometimes they called the 10P10C RJ45 or RJ48, but it´s a RJ50.
For you it´s important that the battery has 10 pins !
So, Just to make sure I am getting this. I have attached my invert pinouts from the solax manual and guess this is exactly what the "converter" is doing in the SolaX caseHi Matthew.
I´ve find out the pins for CAN-Bus and for internal bus.
For CAN-Bus to the inverter it´s pin6 (CAN_L) and pin8 (CAN_H).
For internal bus you have to cross pin 9+10.
With kind regards,
Thorsten
Cheers, just pulled my cable out and yep, no groundCAN bus don´t need a GND, so just 1 to 8 and 2 to 6, not more.
Intra-battery 1/1, 2/2 ... 9/10, 10/9
I am located in the UK so shippping might be a bit expensiveI´m from Germany and knowing somebody with 4 modules for sale. But international shipping seems to be expansive.
Cheers, think I will just see what pops up in the UKyes, 56 euros (50 pounds).
The battery modules are new and he wants 950 euros (815 pounds) for each.
It´s up to you for paying 865 pounds for one module.
LG manual:Cheers, think I will just see what pops up in the UK
Do you know if the different models can be mixed or is it best to stay with the same?
LG manual:
"These models are the same in hardware but slightly different from each other in software.
NOTE
An ESS can consist of up to 10 units of the same battery module. Using different
models of battery modules together is not permitted."
Hey Floyd:I would double/triple check the voltages. The 7th cell is on 4 pins perhaps it has something to do with the bms that originally controlled these ESS modules. Wire all four no.7 wires together same with no.14 or cut and tape the extras. Which pin is the negative should be one of the unnumbered pins maybe one on each half.

Hey Floyd:Shouldn't make a difference where the negative is connected main negative or the wiring harness.
I suppose the extra 24v wires and the extra 48v wires could be powering something on the original bms.
I opened my LG RESU wiring harness up after cutting the large connectors off the end. I know the purple wires went to thermistors on mine.
Here is the thread https://secondlifestorage.com/index...f-an-lg-chem-resu-10h-system.9532/#post-65119
Might find something in the thread that will help.
Best of luck
