It's the same cells used in my DeWalt batteries. Very good ones!

The 25R is a very affordable and good battery. It handles Easy high loads and as far as I seen them they easy run above the 100%. One other bonus is that is is rated for peaks of 100A! It is hard to let them heat up and the accept almost everything you can trow at them.

These are also in the EGO brand 56v 2.5 AH battery packs for lawn and garden tools like weed trimmers, hedge trimmers, chainsaw, etc, from circa 2020/2021.

They are uniquely packaged in that the middle of the cylinder is wrapped in some kind of black material and then over that, entire cell is heat shrink-wrapped again, so that its overall shape is more like a barrel than a cylinder. Between the metal shell and the outside air there are 3 layers, the Samsung wrap, the black material, and another green wrap with no label. If you remove the top two layers you can see the Samsung label.

The black material may be a cooling enhancement material, described here on the Ego website
