Pop Your Cherry

What better way is there to start an introduction, then poppingones cherry...lol. I opened my first laptop battery pack this weekend (see pic). Side note, Lenovo Thinkpad batteries suck. They're are sticky mess with clear tape.

Hello everyone, my name is Scott, I'm from Joliet, Illinois, US. I'm a design engineerthat has been developing products for over 25 years. I got hooked on these YouTubers that were building these things called powerwalls and came across Pete's 270+ videosdocumentinghis experiencesof fails and great wins. Ibecame a fan, andnow I've caught the bug and I'm in the beginning stages of creating my own solar and powerwall system.

Welcome m8! Those cells is not due to Lenovo Its generally the Sanyo cells that of some reasons are glued into their packs. You find them everywhere and in some cases they are called heaters

Thank You for the info. I've read a lot of your posts throughout this forum. You have much wisdomfrom many experiences. As for this laptop, it was onethat I hated from day one, and it was a heater. I finally had a good reason to kill it for a new purpose.
