Hello there.
I am Rui also known as john3voltas or rdscorreia74 across the internet forums, social networks, email accounts, etc.
I'm in my early 40's, I was born in Portugal and that's where I've been living all my life. So, I love it when I see videos or hear people talking and they use the metric system ;-).
I am a big fan of DIY projects but to be honest I have 0 (zero!) experience with anything that needs my hands interacting with more than a computer keyboard or with the curves of fine women

Off-grid is one of my recent loves, and I am not only interested in off-grid electricity. I am looking into rain water too.
My biggest problem is that I live in a tall building which is not suited to solar panels or wind turbines so I have been looking into buying a tiny small property and a couple of hicubic 12 meter long shipping containers. Who knows, maybe I can change my life.
I'll be happy to learn with your projects so that when time comes I can build my own.
