What are your plans ? 12v, 24v etc. Solar, charge controller etc. Also have look at Adam Welch's YouTube he has some great vids on running a cheap charge controller at 24v with a buck converter down to 12v.

I got the idea from the electric samba, you know who im talking about.
I found this place looking for grid tie inverters.

For the rv I want to start out small and test it first.
Im doing a 12v 4s80p pack, have the sbms100, but i want to use the generator to charge it now and latter add 2 solar panels.

For the house, our electric here is .03 off peak and .21 on peak.
I want to put in a grid tie system, or a stand alone system to power a separate ac.

For a grid tie i dont ever want to give them my power i just want to be able to use there or mine at my decision.
So far the only way i see to do that is install a sub panel, move the breakers over i want to run off battery and use a transfer switch between grid and battery.
Is that still called grid tie?
