12v bms

Hi I have a 3s80p pack right now for my portable solar powered generator and Im wanting to put a bms into it. Im hoping to add more to it in parallel and if I have enough packs done convert to a 7s80p and in hopes of eventually a 14s80p. Everyone is saying batrium and Im not sure what else is out theres that would work for my situation due to the fact that I want to keeps upgrading

Batrium is good but for a 3s is not optimal since its rather expensive.

For portable systems its perhaps better just to balance charge with RC charger. When do you plan to go bigger? How much "portable" is it today? Ie how do you charge it?

Im still charging and collecting more batteries. I hope to solder 2 more packs by the end of next week. I havent charged them just yet but was planning on charging them with my solar charge controller but if u think otherwise. I wont. I have an rc charger also its an imax B6AC V2 and its able to charge up to a 6s

My charge controller is a xantrex c60 and it can do 12/24volts

IOFOSHO... would love some info on your build...

I'm a comms guy.. building some portable packs... but would love to use something like that.. i have those ridgid roller boxes... seems like a legit mod!!!
