I picked up a Schwinn S180 off the curb the other week. It was dirty, and SLA batteries were completely flat. I made a lithium pack (10S3P) from Highstar cells I had pulled from dead Ryobi 40V packs, spot welded them with some cheap nickel steel strips I had, and threw on a leftover 40a JBD BMS. Working fine now! Will probably try to fit some 20700 cells in the future if I find a use and liking for this thing.
